The nature of reality
and why some predictions happen and some don’t
The nature of reality
We create our own reality, sometimes consciously but mostly unconsciously.
Our reality is the result of the combination of our beliefs, our intentions
and wants, our thoughts, our feelings and our actions
For example: If we believe that we have to work
hard to earn money, that’s exactly the reality we’ll create,
one in which we work hard to earn money - whatever ‘hard work’
means to you. If for some reason you’re doing some work that you
enjoy and don’t find ‘hard’ (because you enjoy it),
then you will probably not make much money doing it with that belief.
Most of the people believe that ‘money comes from hard work’,
they’ve been told so over and over again by parents, teachers elderly
people and those who represent authority. That is why there are so many
people who are stuck in jobs they hate, the fact they hate their jobs
makes it ‘hard work’, thus it’s ok for them to make
money from it.
If they try to make money doing something they love they may feel guilty,
think they’re undeserving because they’re doing something
they enjoy (so they actually should be paying for it) and create little
if any money and even loss.
The moment we change a belief we change our feelings and the way we think
about an aspect of our reality, we then start changing our reality and
our future. Our present is the outcome of our past, our future is dependant
on our intentions, what we want, decisions, thought patterns and feelings
and finally actions occurring in the present. Which is why the ‘Here
and now’ are so important. The moment our perception of the world
changes even slightly, when something ‘clicks’ and we understand
a pattern and are able to change it, when we decide to act or not act
in a way different to our usual course of action we change our world.
It’s a little bit along the lines of ‘if you always do what
you’ve always done, you will always have what you’ve always
had’ - so if you want to change something in your life you have
a choice of:
1. Feeling and thinking in a different way about it (changing your beliefs)
2. Doing something different to what you’ve been doing so far about
it
or
3. Changing a completely different thing in your life that is seemingly
unrelated -
I’ll explain:
Our reality is a whole (just like we are), the moment we change one aspect
of it, the rest of it will change as well. Like the butterfly effect.
Some changes will be small and some big. Usually the aspect of your reality
that you actively worked on changing will see the most obvious changes,
then there will be changes in areas of life that you had inteniton to
change or wanted to change, the rest will be more like little subtle adjustments
to fit in with everything else.
Sometimes we’re in such a deep muddy swamp we can’t seem to
be able to get out of, we can’t change the way we feel or think
about it and we can’t change what we’re doing about it - i.e.
we repeat the same patterns over and over again. No matter how hard we
try we keep feeling the same, doing the same and having the same.
Option 3 is a way to start change indirectly. Changing something completely
unrelated and usually very external (as within so without = as without
so within) , like your hair, car, wardrobe, redecorate your room or anything
else that you want to change - but careful, you have to want that particular
change in itself, there’s no point in changing the colour of your
hair hoping it will effect your abundance, you’ll end up with a
different hair clour that you probably didn’t want and no change
in anything else. You have to want the change you’re making for
itself. This will give a jump start to other things changing in your life
including what it was you wanted to change but couldn’t. But this
is only a jump start to get you out of the ‘muddy swamp’ it’s
up to you whether or not you’ll slide back in that swamp or act
on options one and two above instead.
..and now predictions
A Tarot reading can show what’s in your past and what’s in
your present with a great deal of accuracy, these have already been written
and exist in your energy now. The cards can also show your potential even
if you’ve not realised it (your potential) yet. Sometimes cards
will show the ‘unrealised potential’ as a reality and will
show an outcome according to what potential is there.
However, the future is subject to decisions and actions that you take
or do not take and it is subject to what you believe in.
No one but you has the power to change your life, someone may affect your
life because you allow them to but the power to allow them or not is still
within you.
I’m sometimes asked what about when a reading shows something you’ve
never thought about before, Isn’t it like planting a seed in your
mind affecting your actions and decisions. If that seed does not appeal
to you it will not catch on, and if you try to do something about it it
will feel wrong and you will not pursue it (I hope). If it does appeal
to you and you do something about it, it may just change your life for
ever. But again it will be you who decides because you create your reality
from your intentions, beliefs, thoughts, feelings and actions.
My advice is this, treat your Tarot reading as guidelines and an opportunity
for insight. Not as a fatalistic fortune telling session. This is not
a ‘cop out’. I believe a reading can and will show you the
possible outcome of current conditions but it will also tell you what
those conditions are and the moment you go out the door you could decide
to change your intention and focus, you could take action as a result
from an insight you had in your reading which could send whatever that
outcome was out the window replacing it with a new outcome you created.
All it takes is a slight change of perception and you re-write your reality.
The Tarot give guidance to help us on our journey, direct us towards realising
our full potential. They may show what is going to happen or what needs
to be done in order for something to happen. Ultimately the cards will
show you what you need to know at that moment to take you to the next
stage.
The rest is up to you.
